Two of the best things in Leeds have come together in one shirt – Leeds United, and Whitelock’s Ale House.
The beloved pub, which is the oldest in Leeds dating back to 1715, has launched two new football shirts inspired by retro kits for The Whites.
The merch has been announced as the city rides high on the wave of the club’s promotion to the Premier League.
There are two Whitelock’s football shirts available, each one inspired by the early 2000s Champions League kits.
Whether it’s white or yellow for you, each tee is a fitted activewear-style jersey.
The home and away shirts both feature Whitelock’s curved logo along with dotted gradient designs on the sleeves and sides.
Whitelock’s Ale House first announced the news a couple of weeks ago, with pre-orders now live until 30 July.
They’ve teamed up with Leeds-based design studio Saul Studio, and Pendle Sportswear for the limited-edition retro football shirts.
The pub wrote: “To mark the return of the mighty Leeds United to the Premier League, we’ve teamed up with Pendle Sportswear to launch two limited-edition Whitelock’s football shirts — inspired by the club’s iconic early 2000s Champions League kits.
“Rep your city, your pub, and your team with our new Home and Away jerseys — designed with @saul_studio and @pendlesportswear and made in Yorkshire!”
Commenting on the pub’s post, one person wrote: “I’m not a LUFC fan, but I LOVE these.”
Another said: “I must buy this.”
