What: If you can’t wait until winter for another round of Strictly Come Dancing, FIREDANCE is the perfect performance to head to this month. Touring to fill that passion-fuelled night of dancing that’s been missing from our lives. Expect “sizzling dancers and mesmerising fire specialists in a captivating dance-off inspired by the timeless movie blockbusters Romeo and Juliet, Moulin Rouge, Carmen and West Side Story” from Karen and Gorka.

James Haskell

Thursday 6 April 2023 | City Varieties, Leeds

What: The rugby star turned podcaster and author of Sunday Times Bestselling book ‘What A Flanker‘, James Haskell will be telling all at City Varieties this month. The show will see Haskell talk about everything from his ‘mischievous’ school days to playing around the world as a professional rugby player, including at Wasps, Northampton, Stade Francais, The Ricoh Black Rams, and The Highlanders.

Billie Marten

Friday 7 April 2023 | Vinyl Whistle, Headingley, Leeds

What: Back with her fourth album Drop Cherries, Billie Marten is embarking on an intimate record store tour, including a stop at Headingley’s own Vinyl Whistle.

Where: Vinyl Whistle, Otley Road, Headingley, LS6 3

Inspiral Carpets

Saturday 8 April 2023 | O2 Academy, Millennium Square, Leeds

What: 40 years on from the Madchester movement that saw the Inspiral Carpets soar to success, the band are back on the road with a series of hits to play.

Sam Smith

Wednesday 12 April 2023 | Utilita Arena, Sheffield

What: From featuring on Disclosure’s breakthrough single Latch in 2012, Sam Smith has produced four albums in the past decade, with the 2023 Gloria being the most recent. The third of the singer songwriters tour is set to bring the artists’ best hits to date, as well as plenty of tracks from their latest album.

Leith Ross

Thursday 13 April 2023 | The Wardrobe, St Peter’s Square, Leeds

What: Canadian singer songwriter Leith Ross is touring across North America, Europe and the UK. ‘We’ll Never Have Sex’, their single has seen the artists shoot to success with a whopping 37 million Spotify streams, 1 million video views.

Mimi Webb

Little Planets

Saturday 15 April 2023 | The Lending Room, Woodhouse, Leeds

What: With what will be their biggest show yet, Alt Pop band and housemates, Little Planets, are headlining The Lending Rooms, in the heart of their home city, Leeds. Ahead of their anticipated first EP release, the pop group will be playing familiar favourites such as Silent and Everytime, alongside new, unreleased tunes.

What: After bringing us ‘The 1980 Tour’ in 2019, Midge Ure is back on the road with the Voice and Visions tour to celebrate 40 years of the Ultravox’s Rage In Edenand Quartet albums.

What: Michael Buble is for life, not just for Christmas – and he’ll prove it when he pops into town with his new album and tour.

Olly Murs

What: Olly Murs is back (he stepped back from the music industry for four years but remained on our screens with his TV career) with a new album and a massive UK arena tour. The X Factor alumni will be heading up to Leeds in 2023 with a gig in support of his new album Marry Me.

The James Orchestral Tour

Monday 28 April 2023 | York Barbican, York

What: James are back, this time with a full orchestra, and heading over to York Barbican in celebration of their 40th anniversary and double album. They’ll also have a gospel choir and new versions of their greatest hits, fan favourites and deep cuts.

10 Years of Sempiternal Party

What: Sheffield emo legends Bring Me The Horizon are celebrating a decade of The House of Wolves and Can You Feel My Heart?, Sempiternal turns ten and there’s a night-long party to celebrate in the city that started it all.
