There’s multiple events on every single night in Leeds this month, so it’s been a tricky one to narrow it down to ten gigs to get yourself to in November.
With the wintry nights upon us, our attention is well and truly devoted to indoor-only live music nights. From the cost corners of the O2 Academy to the basement venue at The Wardrobe, there’s plenty of spots to dance the night away to some of the UK, US and Canada’s favourite artists.

Thursday 3 November 2022 | First Direct Arena, Arena Way
Kendrick Lamar has confirmed that he will be performing across the world as part of his Big Steppers World Tour, and Leeds is lucky enough to be one of the seven stops across the UK involved. Taking over the First Direct Arena on Thursday 3 November 2022, this is going to be the biggest performance in Leeds since that Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe performance at Leeds Fest 2018.

Saturday 5 November 2022, 7.30pm -11pm | The Lending Room, Woodhouse Lane, Woodhouse
When Co-frontman of The Libertines Carl Barat has been quoted saying” “If you’re going to see the emergence of a new great band you’ll see them at This Feeling first”, you know that you’re on to a good thing. Bringing together a night of music spanning from alt-indie to rock and roll, This Feeling will be taking over The Lending Room with Shade, Champagne On The Rocks, Free Party and Red Shakes, next to The Library on Woodhouse Lane and offering the perfect alternative event on Bonfire Night.

Wednesday 9 November 2022 | The Wardrobe, St Peter’s Square
The 20-year-old Canadian singer songwriter is on our side of the pond to bring tunes from her two EPs, Teenage Angst and Off Saint Dominque following a collaboration with longtime indie-alt band, The Maine and Travis Barker in We’ll Make This Ok.

Saturday 12 November 2022 | First Direct Arena, Arena Way
The Leeds’ legends are back in town for one night only- and their homecoming gig is expected to be one of the biggest in the city. The indie-rock band will bring all their best known tunes like Ruby and I Predict A Riot to the First Direct Arena, along with (hopefully) their nostalgic hits about our own city.

Sunday 13 November 2022 | The Lending Room, Woodhouse Lane
Taking the number one spot on The Manc’s five Manchester bands to listen to back in August, the much-loved Manchester four piece will be taking to the stage at The Lending Room. Since then, the band have been spotted touring alongside Swim Deep single 1989 has just reached 200,000 streams on Spotify- so this is going to be a band to watch.

Monday 14 November 2022 | The Key Club, The Merrion Centre
The indie-pop band are back with their fourth album and to celebrate, The Key Club will be hosting an intimate album launch night. Door open at the earlier time of 7pm with the band jumping on the stage shortly after, so make sure you’re not late for this one.

Sunday 20 November 2022 | The Wardrobe, St Peter’s Square
UPSAHL may have only just released her debut album Lady Jesus last year, but the multi-instrument singer songwriter has been working with A-list celebrity singers for quite some time. You’ll recognise her songwriting credits from Kiss My (Uh Oh) from Anne-Marie and Little Mix; Boyshit from Madison Beer, Dua Lipa’s Good in Bed and plenty more besides.

Wednesday 23 November 2022 | O2 Academy, Millenium Square
Returning for the second time this year after her performance at Live At Leeds: In The Park, Holly Humberstone is back in Leeds at the O2 Academy for one night only. The BRIT Rising Star performer will be bringing tunes from her new album Can You Afford To Lose Me, as well as single Sleep Tight, which was co-written with The 1975’s frontman, Matty Healy.

Thursday 24 November 2022 | O2 Academy, Millenium Square
The Leeds legends are returning for a huge homecoming gig at the O2 Academy, and the city couldn’t be more excited. Since releasing their debut album in February, The Overload, reached number two in the charts, the four piece Yorkshire band have been continuing to bring their tuneful observations of everyday life to the masses, and this performance will be no different.

Worried about Henry presents a huge Friday night line-up. Chase and Status will be taking over the O2 Academy until 4am with sets from the likes of S.P..Y, Voltage, Born On Road Ft Aries, b2b Kelvin373 b2b Gray, Disrupta, Dilemma, Garston, Hosted by, Lowqui, Fox and Carasel.
