The prices for big festive events like this are always a hot topic, with most places slapping a premium price tag on for the luxury of sipping your winter drink surrounded by the festive atmosphere of the Christmas Markets.
There are more 70 stalls taking over City Square and Millennium Square, selling everything from your classic mulled wine and bratwurst to comforting crumble and loaded hash browns.

Classic mulled wine – £6.50 (or £9 with a shot)
