Newsam Park festival has confirmed it will be going ahead for 2021 – revealing a new date and the full line-up for this year’s event, including a surprise last-minute headline set.

With just under two weeks to go, excitement is building for the event – and now, to compound on that, organisers have released a host of new acts that will be performing on the day.

New additions set to appear at the festival include the likes of Romanian minimal master Rhadoo and Drumcode label head and enduring techno titan Adam Beyer on the Garden Stage.

Beyer will be stepping in to replace Jamie Jones in the headline slot as a last-minute addition.

Beyer will be joined by Cocoon’s iconic party starter Sven Vath, plus Fuse mainstay Enzo Siragusa, and much loved local heroes and Mint Residents Annie Errez and Bobby ODonnell.

The festival has also confirmed that Dekmantel favourite and NTS host Palms Traxx will be stepping in for Nightmares on Wax and Dan Shake over at The Lake stage, bringing his mix of authentic Chicago house, dazzling disco and irresistible funk and soul sounds to the dance.

He’ll be joined by some big names on The Lake stage, including Denis Sulta, Warehouse Music boss and party-starting DJ Mella Dee.

Speaking on the new additions, a festival spokesperson said: “The complete and final lineup can now be revealed after some intense weeks of late nights, endless phone calls and hard work securing the very best DJs possible.”

“These changes and extra headliner addition have only had to come about because of dates being moved not once, not twice, but three times

“As much of the original lineup as possible remains the same, but unfortunately, some DJs were already committed to playing other events on this final rescheduled weekend.

“We truly appreciate your support and patience, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sticking with us – we cannot wait to see you down the front.”

Created by the team behind Mint Warehouse, this year’s festival will now take place on Saturday 21st August.
