The locally-famous plant-based food joint has found a new Yorkshire spot to call home, and it’s bring a brand-new concept to town with it.
The fast food spot usually fills Leeds with its standout lunchtime deal of burger, chips and soda for under a tenner, but now the vegan venue is branching out into tacos as part of their new venture.
The owners took to Instagram to share the news on Monday, stating: “Holy guacamole. It’s happening. We’ve been tirelessly working on a brand new concept and we can finally announce we’re bringing it to a new location in York. We’re keeping the details shhhhh for now but this location is THE ONE.”
The vegan foodie spot also shared that there will be an opportunity to test out the new taco concept right here in Leeds “very soon” at a weekend pop-up event.
“If you’ve never heard of Birria Tacos, get searching and get excited! We’re taking plant based tacos to a whole new level.”
Whilst we wait for the full details to be announced, Döner Summer in Leeds is still open every day of the week serving up a taste of their original burgers, chick’n shop style goods and if you’re lucky enough to make it on the last weekend of the month, you can grab a bite of Endless Summer.
The bottomless brunch deal is only available once a month so if you’re keen to get your seat at the meat-free table, you’d better act fast.
On the menu, there’s all the fried chick’n goodness from the main menu, gyros kebabs, Berlin döner, burgers and skin-on fries served unlimited times to your table plus the choice of cocktails like Passionfruit Flossi, Rum Punch, Sherbet Lemons and house beer.
