It’s officially summer here in Britain, marked not by the longest day of the year but by the start of another season of ITV‘s Love Island.
With a total of 3.2million viewers for the last season, it’s safe to say it’s one of the UK’s most popular shows with fans spanning the length and breadth of the country. So if you’re going to be tuning in anyway, why not get paid for it?
That’s exactly what’s on offer from the luxury bedding company Secret Linen Store, which is giving one fan the chance to get paid for the pleasure of watching the drama-filled show.
The chosen candidate will have to do a few more things too for their £300 salary, namely listening to true crime podcasts, completing a skincare routine, and taking a calming bath or shower.
They’ll need to submit a full written report each night, detailing how their routine helped them to relax and get ready for bed (or not), and noting down how well they slept as a result, over the course of a month.

At the end of the month, the chosen person will be paid £300 and gifted a Secret Linen Store bedding and nightwear set. It doesn’t sound too shabby to us.
Speaking on the role, Molly Freshwater, co-founder of Secret Linen Store, said: “We’d love to give to give someone the opportunity to dedicate time in the evenings to relax, and to take on the important task of finding out the ultimate calming pre-bed routine.”
Applications are open now and will close on 3 July. You can apply here.
