ASDA is offering 10% off shopping throughout the festive period by way of thanking emergency service workers for all their continued hard work.
Anyone who holds a blue light card will be eligible for the discount, which can be used across every store in the country between now and Sunday 2 January 2022.
The savings can be redeemed across food and drink, clothing from George at Asda, homeware, as well as on toys, gifts, and vision services.
Blue Light card holders just need to show their card at the checkout to redeem the discount.
Asda said it has launched this Christmas discount to recognise the valued work these individuals do each day to keep everyone safe.
Speaking on the launch of the discount, Derek Lawlor – Chief Merchandising Officer at Asda – said: “Blue Light cardholders work in difficult and dangerous situations every day of the year to provide support to people across the UK who need it the most [and] we wanted to recognise this and thank them for everything they do by offering a discount in our stores this Christmas.
“We really want to say thank you to our members for doing everything they can to help protect the most vulnerable this year, and every year.”
All those who hold a Blue Light Card are eligible for the 10% discount on food and drink, George at Asda clothing and homeware, toys, gifts, and optical.
