Pets at Home have launched an exclusive pamper package this Halloween so that your pooch can enjoy a relaxing spa treatment before trick-or-treating.

When was the last time we involved our four legged friends in a pre-party pamper? This year, Pets at Home are out to change that and are offering a new spa treatment themed around the spooky season.

No tricks for your dog here, only treats are available with their new special canine Halloween spa package. Running throughout the month, an additional £8 at The Groom Room gives pups of all size access to a number of unique treatments.

These include: use of a special Halloween shampoo and spritz (although the exact scent of Halloween has just not been revealed, we imagine it smells spooky and refreshing); a blueberry facial; teeth cleaning and a foamy breath cleaning gel.

To ensure that a full head-to-paw pamper relaxes your dog, the package also includes nose balm and paw balm: perfect for the colder months when their skin might be getting a little drier as it adapts to the weather.

Once your dog has been thoroughly treated inside the spa, all participating dogs and puppies will receive a free spooky bandana. However, if owners do insist on dressing up their canine in full Halloween fancy dress, there are plenty of other outfits to choose from too.

For example, a long-standing Pets at Home favourite is their pumpkin outfit and only costs an additional £8. There are also a range of other spooktacular costumes, including: pumpkin knitted jumpers, witches hats, bat wings and giant spider outfits.

If your dog would rather take on the creepy crawlies than dress up as one, Pets at Home have got a range of ghoulish toys in the shapes of monsters, pumpkins, snakes, even a scary squeaking hot dog.

There are lots of Halloween themed treats and toys in store. / Image: Pets at Home
