A community hairdressers and barbers in Keighley College is offering haircuts and manicures free of charge to anyone preparing for a job interview.
Keighley College offers a range of hairdressing, barbers and nail artistry courses, so this gives the students an opportunity to improve their skills, whilst giving the job candidate a fresh new look.
Available to unemployed men and women of all ages, the scheme has been greatly received since- clearly swapping those pre-interview nerves for an afternoon of pampering is sure to help settle those jitters and make you feel like refreshed.

Aspiring student hairdressers and barbers will be providing the service at the college until the end of June, in a bid to support locals in boosting their confidence before attending an interview.
Ashleigh Taleb, Salon Technician at Keighley College, said: “We’re dedicated to going to great lengths to empower our community to achieve great things.
"We appreciate how difficult the pandemic has been, resulting in many being furloughed and unemployed. Our professional Hair and Beauty Level 2 and 3 students will be on hand to lift community spirit by cutting hair and offering manicures.”

In order to qualify for a free haircut, interviewees will need to bring along an offer email or letter for the interview to their hair appointment.
As part of the student's apprenticeships or college courses, practice is essential to building their portfolio and showing off their skills.
If you're not unemployed but still fancy getting a new 'do or a manicure to end the week, you can still visit the students at Keighley for a fraction of the price of a regular salon.

Haircuts are available from just £7 and £5 for a cut and finish at the barbers. You can also get a manicure from £7 and even massages, eyelash treatments and waxing at the college with prices starting from just £3.
Barbering Facilitator, Simon Francis, believes that it's important for the students to really test their boundaries. “In order for them to stretch what they think they could do, students need to see the reality first and then put their own spin on it. Creativity is key - even down to a simple haircut.”
David Hockney, one of Britain's most influential and recognisable artists, has sadly died.
Born in Bradford in 1937, David Hockney built a career spanning more than six decades and became one of the most influential figures in contemporary art.
He was best known for his vibrant paintings, from the iconic swimming pools of Los Angeles to the sweeping landscapes of Yorkshire and Normandy.
And of course you can't forget the adorable paintings of his sausage dogs Stanley and Boodgie.
This morning on Friday 12 June, it was sadly announced that David Hockney had passed away - just one month prior of his 89th birthday.
Admired by critics and the public alike, Hockney's work was exhibited around the world and attracted record-breaking prices, cementing his place as one of the defining artists of the modern era.
Most recently, his incredibly immersive exhibition 'Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away)' was a hit across the country, proving his work still resonated with the people of today.
His work at Salts Mill has remained in exhibit for years, including his special digital drawings that he did on his iPad.
His death marks the end of a truly extraordinary career, but his influence on British culture and contemporary art will endure for years to come.
A true West Yorkshire icon that will be missed by many from across the globe. RIP David.
