A local business owner has spoken out about a shock building collapse in Sheffield yesterday, which has left her unable to work.
Owner and tattoo artist Paula Zalewska, who owns the female-only studio Modelajna has shared a tearful update following the partial building collapse on London Road.
Shortly before 1am on Sunday, residents were evacuated from a number of flats in Sheffield after the front of the building collapsed.
Luckily, thanks to the speedy efforts of emergency services, no one was injured in the incident.
But it has left local business owner Paula reeling and unable to access her beautiful studio space.
Yesterday, she shared a brief update that the 'building has collapsed and affected my studio', adding: "At the moment I cannot enter and collect my equipment which leaves me unable to work."
But in a more in-depth video shared later that day, an emotional Paula added: "I'm coming here with an update, which is not much because I don’t know much. I guess first of all I should say a huge thank you to everyone who’s concerned, who’s worrying, for all your messages. Thank you again.

"It's crazy to see the amount of support, and know that my studio was such a safe space for not only me but for a lot of people.
"And the main thing is everyone’s okay and no one was hurt."
She added that the studio, and the business next door, had been affect by 'a lot of leak issues' and questioned if that has contributed to the dramatic collapse of the upper levels of the building.
Paula added: "The whole building is not safe to enter. Within the next few days they will evaluate the state of it and if it’s safe for me to get in and take my stuff.
"At this moment I’ve managed to find a new shop where I can move in even tomorrow and start working - but unfortunately I cannot because I don’t physically even have a tattoo machine with me. All of my stuff are there, everything."
She later updated followers that she will be able to retrieve her equipment from the studio in the coming days.
Modelajna is famed for its delicate fineline tattoos, and its safe female-only space.
Someone has now set up a Go Fund Me to try and help Paula get back on her feet.
And in the meantime, you can follow Modelajna on Instagram for the latest updates on her new studio space.
There's a brand-new Catalonian-inspired café and bar venue coming to Sheffield where you can grab a coffee or a pint at the same time.
This is Cats, a combined café and bar space that's making its way to Broomhill and offering anyone visiting the chance to experience a taste of Spain without having to fork out the cost of a plane ticket.
Catalonia is famous for many notable like impressive architecture such as La Sagrada Familia, legendary performers like Rosalía and phenomenal all-day hospitality which this new site is hoping to emulate.
Although we might not be able to judge their skills as vocalists, when it comes to construction and deconstruction they're excelling, as can be seen in their renovation progress documented across their socials.
Taking shape in the former Nibbles Pizza site on Ashdell Road, although you might not be able to order a 12 inch meat feast anymore, Cats will be offering a range of interesting wines, beers and bar snacks.
In newly-released rendered images, a fitting wine-red colour has been used throughout both interior and exterior, the latter having a small seating adjacent to the front door.
Inside, you'll find lightbulbs dotted around the almost-180 degree-spanning window seating with small warm lights to set the mood.
Directly opposite will be the bar with a muted-concrete countertop that has a coffee machine on one end and draught beers on the other - the ultimate dream.
There's even a cellar area downstairs with banquette seating and those familiar tabletop lamps which help keep the atmosphere as relaxed and intimate as intended.
As the name may suggest, this place isn't exclusively for feline lovers as this Sheffield venue is promising to be a dog-friendly site stocking 'Cats' branded dog treats and water bowls.
Of course, this won't be exactly how this café and bar space will end up looking like as working with an older may pose some potential challenges, but these plans shouldn't differ too much.
We can't wait to get our claws on a glass of vino.
