Say hello to HYGGE, the new Scandinavian-inspired cafe that’s just touched down in Leeds.
After taking Sheffield by storm, HYGGE is now bringing its speciality coffee and Scandi comfort food to Leeds for us all to enjoy and we’re absolutely buzzing about it.
Located in the Merrion Centre on Woodhouse Lane, this all-new cosy cafe chain is serving up some of the best Danish delicacies in town with an equally inviting interior.
Whatever you fancy, they’ve got it all. From hearty breakfasts faves like avocado on toast and stacked breakfast bagels to sweet tooth cravings like their unreal cinnamon knot. Seriously, you’ve got to try one.
The space is so open and airy, with plenty of tables and plugs if you need to crack on with work for a few hours as well as comfy swinging chairs if you want to sit back and relax with friends.
We can already see this one being a huge hit amongst students, just moments away from campus it’s a fabulous spot to take a break between lectures and fuel up with some caffeine.
‘Hygge’ is a Danish and Norwegian word that describes a cosy and content mood and that’s exactly what they have achieved with this cafe.
As soon as you step foot through the door you’ll feel at ease and ready to press pause on day to day life for a few moments, order a matcha, and be kind to yourself.
So pop by and try out the HYGGE way of living for yourself, we promise you’re going to love it.
