No complaints here.
When it comes to the food offerings for the festive season, balls of stuffing and pigs in blankets come out in their hundreds to give us a taste of Christmas right up until the big day.
But almost as important as the menu items themselves is the gravy.
Regardless of what you’re pouring it onto. We’re all in search of a thick pot of moreish gravy to add to our dinner – and lots of it.
The Canary bar on Leeds Dock more than got the memo on this one and is one of the only spots in the city to serve up unlimited pots of gravy with any main meal.
That’s right: you can dunk it in your chips, your burger – even your halloumi fries.
Since it’s Christmas, there’s three different burgers to choose from: The Canary Christmas Burger: a solid beef patty with Swiss cheese, five spiced slaw and a pig in a blanket; the Buttermilk Festive Burger, which swaps out the beef for a buttermilk chicken burger and cranberry, whilst the Festive Vegan Burger, is a grilled portobello mushroom, vegan cheese and mayo, topped with a stuffing ball and brioche bun.
And to keep on the theme of winter warmers, swap your regular fries for a parsnip alternative.
