The new neighbourhood sandwich shop with queues down the street every single day

Since opening last November, Silver’s Deli has made a name for itself for serving up the best sarnies in Leeds.

But these aren’t just your average sandwiches.

Owner Chris has studied the art of New York-style subs for years, and has done us all a favour by bringing them to our humble city in West Yorkshire.

Freshly baked sub rolls as long as your forearm jam-packed with as much filling as humanly possible.

Freshly sliced cold cut deli meats, handmade meatballs slathered in their secret recipe marinara sauce, and the famous prime brisket which is cured for over a week (yes, really) and slow cooked for hours so it’s tender and just down right delicious.

If you’re there before 11:30am, you’ll be lucky enough to get your chops around one of their unreal breakfast buns.

Soft brioche buns stuffed with creamy cold-pan scrambled eggs, homemade sausage patties, hand crafted spicy mayo and caramelised onions.

These bad boys blow McDonald’s right out of the water and are good enough to cure any hangover (tried and tested).

Served alongside a coffee made with Dark Woods beans, we can’t think of a better way to kickstart the day.

Silver’s take pride in the quality of their ingredients and you can really tell.

They make their own sausage patties using meat from the local butchers, they make all their own sauces and even bake their own cookies using their very own brown butter which takes a whopping two hours to make.

You’ll see this is completely worth it once you devour one of those gooey pieces of heaven.

Most days you’ll find queues out the door of this cool corner deli, with most people wanting to get their hands on ‘The Salt Beef’ – a sub roll which is quite frankly harder to get your hands on than a Glastonbury ticket.

But everything at Silver’s Deli is worth queueing for, especially the Sunday special which changes weekly and has previously featured a monstrous Sunday dinner sarnie and a naughty focaccia and fried chicken creation.

Located ten minutes out of the city centre in Bramley, this neighbourhood deli has taken the city by storm and we can certainly see why.
