The boys are back!
It’s only been a few weeks since Busted graced the city with a guitar-riffing, stage-jumping, non-stop hit performance at the First Direct Arena, and now, the boys have announced they will be returning to Leeds for a special Sounds of the City performance.
Taking place on Thursday 11 July 2024, the trio will be joined by noughties favourites Scouting For Girls.
Millennium Square announced the news with a short and sweet caption: “
📣 Announcement: Pop-punk time-travel enthusiasts @busted are set to perform a major headline show at Millennium Square on Thurs 11 July 2024. They will be joined by fellow live favourites @scoutingforgirls.”
The group, consisting of James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson, formed back in 2000 and dominated the charts with songs like Year 3000, Air Hostess, and What I Go To School For.
They released two studio albums before splitting in 2005 when drummer Charlie left to focus on rock band Fightstar.
And although Busted did return with two more albums (Night Driver and Halfway There), this latest arena tour announcement has sent fans wild.
Tickets go on sale from Thursday 26 October from 10am, with standing priced at £46.75, including booking fee, on the Millennium Square website here.
