Following the success of the first concert series, Leeds will once again welcome the Bridgerton concert by Candlelight.
It’s time to grab your parasol and pull up your silk stockings, because Bridgerton is coming to Leeds.
Well, sort of.
Leeds City Museum is soon to be transformed into a sea of twinkling lights for a series of mesmerising classical music concerts inspired by the hit TV show Bridgerton.
Audiences will be able to relive the best moments from the three seasons through live music performed by a local string quartet.
The program includes popular songs featured in the show, such as Billie Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy’, Ariana Grande’s ‘thank u, next’, and Sia’s ‘Cheap Thrills’, among others.
These special performances will also return to cities like London, Paris, New York, Madrid, Sydney and Berlin giving fans another chance to enjoy a unique and unforgettable Bridgerton-inspired experience.
The Candlelight Concerts series takes the work of world-famous artists like Beyonce, Oasis, Fleetwood Mac and Coldplay, but strips it right back to basics.
Gone are the high-tech special effects and lighting installations we’re all so accustomed to now, replaced instead by simple candles and a small orchestra, plus occasional ballerinas.
Performed by a local string quartet from Leeds, Candlelight collaborates with talented local musicians who share the belief that classical music can resonate with a broader audience.
The exact dates are yet to be announced, but you can join the waiting list here and we advise you do as these tickets are going to fly off the shelves.
And we feel we should warn you that Jonathan Bailey is not included.
