Peddler Market, a leading street food market in Sheffield, is coming on holiday to Leeds for the weekend.
The free market will be taking place at Project House on Armley Road on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 April 2024.
Celebrating its tenth year of hosting events, Peddler Market are celebrating by putting on four satellite events and bringing the very best of street food to four Yorkshire cities.
Including right here in Leeds.
Since 2014, Peddler Market has grown into one of the country’s leading street food events so it’s no surprise that the line-up of vendors is pretty impressive.
Hungry punters can grab some delicious tacos from Birria Bandits, greek gyros from Thatziki, pizza from New Yorkshire Pizza Co., authentic Thai cuisine from Tikks Thai and so much more.
There will also be market stalls for you to browse, from Leeds legend The Savvy Baker to local maker Fae Candle Co.
Whilst you’re scranning and shopping, you’ll also be able to enjoy live music from a range of acts including The Rushbonds and Mica Sefia.
But it doesn’t stop there as BoomChikkaBoom, a Leeds-based company that offers activities for children, will be bringing fun arts and crafts for the younger ones over the weekend.
The market will be open both days from 12 – 10pm and it is set to be a weekend to remember full of fun, friends and plenty of food.
Event director Lucy Bailey spoke about the event: “Peddler Market is quite a destination. It’s really well known in Sheffield, we can get anywhere between six and 10,000 people over a weekend come down when we’re hosting.
“And that kind of customer base is really loyal. We not only showcase the best in UK street food, we platform upcoming musicians and local makers and artists as well. It really draws the crowds in and there’s something for everybody.”
