Let’s raise a glass to Bottle Chop, because it’s officially one of the very best.

If you’re ever looking to find The Hoot team on a Friday night, then there’s a high probability that they’ll be in Bottle Chop.

Located in Far Headingley, this pastel pink paradise is home to all the very best natural wine ready for you to glug by the glass sitting in or to take away.

And it’s not just us who think it’s pretty fabulous, as The Sunday Times has just crowned Bottle Chop as one of the best bottle shops in Britain.

Listing 30 of the UK’s best, the publication wrote: “It’s impossible not to love this Headingley bottle shop, bar and deli, which is stocked with foodie essentials from Torres crisps to Ortiz tuna. It even has it’s own wine club: The Bottle Chop Booze Crew.”

And we have to say we absolutely agree.

From charcuterie boards jam-packed with local cheeses and cured meats to curated small plates that go perfectly with your favourite orange wine, this is a neighbourhood hangout perfect for any occasion.

Priding themselves on their ever-changing selection of natural wine, there’s always three available by the glass and each visit is very rarely the same.

The team are truly exceptional and have built such a wonderful community that you really do feel part of the crew.

If you’re new to low intervention wine then they’re more than happy to talk you through it, from funky pet nats to chilled reds – you’re bound to be a natural wine lover in no time at all.

So congratulations Bottle Chop, you’re absolutely fantastic.
