Leeds sandwich shop Silver’s Deli crowned Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year 2025

Popular sandwich shop Silver’s Deli has brought home the coveted prize at the Uber Eats Awards.

Since opening just two years ago in Bramley, Silver’s Deli has become a firm favourite of locals and visitors alike.

Famed for their stacked sub sandwiches loaded with cold cuts and plenty of other goodies, it’s basically known as the best sandwich in and around Leeds which is no easy feat.

Often racking up huge queues on a weekend for their infamous specials which sell out in mere hours.

And having just opened up a second site inside Get Baked over in Headingley, it’s safe to say there’s just no stopping Silver’s.

At this years Uber Eats Awards they were up against a whopping 130 nominations which was then whittled down to 12 finalists.

The talented twelve took their offerings down to London to cook for a set of judges and amazingly, Silver’s only went and took home the gold.

Not only did they win the top prize of Restaurant of the Year, but with it they bagged themselves £100,000 to invest in the business.

Now that’s a pretty good prize if you ask us.

We’re absolutely buzzing for Silver’s Deli, Chris and the team, and we can’t think of a more deserving bunch of lovely people to receive all the glory.

And now that everyone knows just how fab Silver’s Deli is, we’re pretty sure that this is only the beginning.
