Silver’s Deli to open second site in Saltaire with a brand new concept

Your favourite Silver’s sarnies, but with a twist.

It’s fair to say that Silver’s Deli in Bramley has taken the Leeds foodie scene by storm since they opened at the end of last year.

Famous for their stacked hoagies as long as your arm, breakfast sandwiches fit to cure any hangover and retro interior perfect for acting as the background of your Instagram pictures – this is the spot to go to if you’re looking for your carb fix.

Making everything in-house from their sausage patties to their salt beef which is slow cooked for hours on end, Silver’s is the real deal.

And now they’ll be slinging out their sandwiches in Saltaire too, but this time it’ll be a little bit different.

Opening up inside Village General Store, Silver’s will be stuffing their delicious fillings inside Pain De Mie bread instead of their iconic subs. So basically, the same sandwiches but in a different shape.

They’ll be serving lunch Wednesday – Sunday from 11am – 3pm, kicking off at the start of December.

Announcing the news to Instagram, Silver’s said: “It’s our sandwiches but on a fancy Pain De Mie bread (just imagine a well nice, thick white bread). With limited space and a small open kitchen, there’s not a chance we could use our hoagies, they just take up way too much room.

“The amount you get in each sando is exactly the same, it’s just a different shape basically. Some small changes to the menu too, but 75% of it is the same. This also means they’ll be some Saltaire exclusives on there!”

We’re very excited indeed and can’t wait to check out the new space.
