Leeds’ favourite ‘modern kind of deli’ is growing yet again.
After it was announced a couple of weeks ago that The Cheesy Living Co. were opening a third site, we’ve been on tenterhooks ever since wondering which Leeds location was the lucky one.
And finally, it has been revealed that The Cheesy Living Co. will be opening…in Pudsey.
Announcing the news to Instagram, they said: “Sorry for leaving you all hanging there for a minute while we found time to film this silly little video…
“Yes, we could have just driven there, but Soph insisted that we did what’ll be my new commute until I *finally* learn to drive.
“So here’s me & Cheddar heading to the new gaff via the finest public transport Leeds has to offer! Cheesy Living 3.0 – Opening Spring ‘25 x”
So that’s it confirmed then, The Cheesy Living Co. is going to be bringing a new multi-storey store to the suburbs, and it’s set to bring everything we love about the flagship Corn Exchange store, and plenty more besides.
Think cheesemongers meets ‘posh off licence’, with fresh coffee in the daytime, fondue in the afternoon and cosy nights with a bottle of sustainable wine.
It’s safe to say that the fondue offering at the Corn Exchange has been a huge success, where else in the city centre can you dip rosemary and paprika potatoes, crusty baguette bits and even Yorkshire puds into a molten pot of gooey Swiss cheese?
There’s no opening date announced just yet as renovations are still taking place, but Jake and Soph hope to open the store around Spring and we cannot wait.
We’ll keep you updated on all things Cheesy in the lead up to the opening.
