Forget pumpkin spice lattes, because Cheesy Living Co’s Sunday roast fondue is officially back for the cosy season.

Yes the weather may have taken a turn, but it’s not all doom and gloom because what does the changing of the seasons mean? It means Sunday roasts are back, and we’re buzzing about it.

But there’s one roast specifically that we’re very excited about, and that is the Cheesy Living Co’s Sunday roast fondue.

By combining the classic roast with their speciality fondue, they have indeed created a thing of beauty. Let us tell you all about it (warning, might make you hungry).

£20 per person gets you a fondue for two (or more) filled in the classic Swiss style with melted cheese, then your table is filled with roast dinner staples like rosemary potatoes dusted in paprika, half roasted garlic and of course, Yorkshire puddings.

Then you can build on your roast selection as you see fit to make up the ultimate roast dinner, adding a board of Lishman’s cold cut roast ham and beef; honey roasted carrots and parsnips; stuffing balls or even a DIY cauliflower cheese offering to dip into the Alpine-style fondue pot and cover in as much cheese as possible.

For those that can’t get down on a Sunday, there’s a much-loved alternative that the Cheesy Living Co. offer of a delicious fondue serving on Thursdays at both their Corn Exchange and Oakwood eateries.

The menu varies from the Sunday roast but offers the same gooey melting pot of Swiss cheese- and is a welcomed option for those looking to ‘fondue’ their dinner a little differently.

And of course you can wash it all down with a Bloody Mary or any of their fantastic craft beers and wines.

Feeling hungry yet? Us too.

The Sunday roast fondue is taking place every Sunday at their beautiful Oakwood restaurant starting from October, and you can book your table here.
