DogTV will launch in the UK on Monday 8 November and has been scientifically proven to improve mood in pets.
A new TV channel will be launching in the UK next Monday and it's not all designed for human consumption.
DogTV is a canine-friendly channel that will be broadcasting a range of shows that have been scientifically designed to alleviate symptoms of stress, separation anxiety and loneliness.
The service has been adapted to bring dogs the television that they need.
Working with research into animals' physiological and psychological needs, DogTV will show content designed to be calming and promote sleep.

The colours, audio frequencies and camera alignment have all been adapted for dog senses, so it gives humans a chance to see the TV through their canine's eyes.
Amongst the audio and visual stimuli, the channel will also show programmes that will be more interesting to owners.
A select number of shows will take on the age-old question of 'how do I look after my pet?' and offer advice to help owners understand the needs and wants of their canine companions.
The new channel will launch on Monday 8 November in the UK, having already proven popular in other countries around the world.
The channel will be available on Smart TVs and streaming devices, such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku.

The subscription service can be paid for monthly or annually and works on the same pick-and-choose concept as Netflix and other existing streaming platforms.
There is a seven day free trial period so you can see if your dog enjoys their new TV channel before committing to the subscription too.

The new hire will be tasked with taste-testing doughnuts before they hit the shelves, giving verdicts on new flavours and textures, all in the name of research.
The role will also involve teaming up with Morrisons’ internal doughnut-expert team to develop new and limited-edition treats that’ll be in stores next year.
Crowned as the nation’s definitive doughnut authority, the selected winner won’t just earn the title of Chief Doughnut Tester, they’ll also receive the ultimate of sweet perks – a year’s free supply of Morrisons fresh doughnuts, which the retailer sells more than 1.1 million of weekly.

Crisps, biscuits, avocado, and chewing gum are just a few of the items that are soon set to be available for cheaper in the UK.
First announced by Chancellor Rachel Reeves last week, the Government has now published a list of more than 100 of key items that are set to see targeted cuts to tariffs, alongside uprating mileage rates for the first time in 15 years and reducing VAT.
It covers a wide range of ‘everyday essentials’ – from fresh fruit and vegetables, oil and baked goods, to chocolate, sauces, and soft drinks.
“The war in Iran isn’t our war, but one we will need to respond to,” Chancellor Reeves commented.
“My priority is keeping prices down for households and businesses. That’s why we’re freezing fuel duty, increasing the mileage rate for the first time in 15 years and slashed VAT temporarily this summer to help reduce the cost of days out.”

The Government says these cuts support the action it has already taken to reduce the cost of living – including freezing prescription charges, protecting motorists from fuel duty increases, and raising the minimum wage.
The list of everyday essentials set to see targeted cuts to tariffs comes after the Great British Summer Savings initiative was announced last week.
This means that, from 25 June through to 1 September 2026, a temporary reduced rate of VAT – down from 20% to 5% – will be introduced on children’s meals in restaurants and family leisure activities over the summer period.
