Last month, we found out that property coming to market rises 2.3% this month (an average of £7,785), which according to Rightmove, is the biggest monthly jump recorded in over twenty yers on their website.

These incredible stats seem to be having an impact on the number of houses sold too. According to property giants Zoopla, over 6,000 houses have sold in Leeds over the past twelve months. Of course, the prices of these range massively depending on the sizes of your home and its location, the citywide average fell at a respectable £256,752- not too far off the national average of house prices.

Those looking for a flat will find the lowest average price of £152,187 and prices stedily increase, depending on house type, from here. A terraced home in Leeds averages at £198,312 whilst a semi-detached adds almost £50k with an average price of £246,923. However, those looking at a detached home will pay a significant amount more than this- averaging £430,193 per Leeds-based home.
