‘Vinyl Grounds’ will be serving up three of our favourite things rolled into one – coffee, wine and vinyl.

Located on Central Road in the old Brownhill and Co site, Vinyl Grounds is your new all-day hangout.

The brain child of Saroop and Jay, two Leeds locals with a passion for starting a business, the new spot is currently undergoing major renovation with an aim to open at the end of November.

So, what can we expect from Vinyl Grounds?

During the day Vinyl Grounds will be a place to work or sit back and relax with friends whilst enjoying a fabulous coffee or matcha, all to the soundtrack of some smooth jazz played via vinyl of course.

The coffee will be supplied by none other by Assembly Coffee roasters as well, so you just know it’s going to be good.

By night, the space will transform into a buzzing bar serving wine, cocktails and even more tunes to take you into the night.

Located opposite the brand new student accommodation just off Briggate, we can see this spot being a hive for students and city dwellers alike.

It’s a very exciting venture for the pair who are documenting the journey via social media, taking us along for the ride from getting the keys to securing the all important La Marzocco coffee machine.

So we’ll be tuned in to keep you updated with an opening date when it’s announced, and we can’t wait to see what they’ve done with the place.

You can keep up to date with their journey here.
