A community-run Edwardian bathhouse in Leeds has revealed some exciting new inflatable additions to its swimming programme.
With absolutely perfect timing for the summer holidays, Bramley Baths revealed a brand new giant inflatable ‘climbing frame’ in its pool.
Complete with a slide and miniature blow-up obstacle course, it looks like the epitome of every child’s summer holiday swimming dream: brightly coloured and floating in the middle of the pool, ready to be jumped on (and off).
The popular swimming centre revealed the new addition on its Facebook page, as it shared news with followed about how to attend the new inflatable swimming sessions.
In a post, the baths said: “Please note that the inflatable is only suitable for 8 – 14 years of age and have to be confident swimmers.
“Each session has 30 spaces.
“Please give us a call on 01132560949 to book a space today!
“If the phone lines are busy please leave your name and number and we will get back to you.”
The new inflatable swimming sessions have been opened up on Tuesdays and Fridays at the baths, from 1.30 pm to 2.15 pm and 2.15 pm to 3 pm.
Another session will also be held on Sundays from 1.45 pm to 2.30 pm.
Each swimming session can be booked separately. It’s recommended that children younger that 8 years old do not take part for safety reasons.
As well as the inflatable sessions, Bramley Baths also host swimming lessons for those still finding their feet in the water.
The pool is an ideal depth for learners, with friendly teachers on hand to assist the less experienced swimmers. All teachers are ASA trained.
Standard swimming lessons at the baths start from £8 and must be booked and paid for termly in advance or by a monthly direct debit.
