This Life On Tour – 2024.
Take That embarked on their lengthy 41-date UK tour this week, beginning in Sheffield before jumping over the Pennines to visit us at the First Direct Arena for four whole nights from Wednesday 17 April 2024 – Saturday 21 April 2024.
This tour sees remaining members Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald bring together fans spanning across the decades with a whopping 29 hit songs.
It really is the ‘idea of a nice day out’, and we’ve got everything you need to know about the four-day stint here in Leeds.
Tickets for Take That in Leeds
Tickets are still available (just about) from £69.05 for seats – £241.95 for VIP package, all available via See Tickets here.
Alternative package options for The Mixer and The Gallery are still available here, plus the option to fill a suite (although you’ll need to find 16 people to buy tickets to book the whole suite out).
For an idea of everything to expect from a suite, check out our visit to the First Direct Arena for Busted last year below…
What are the stage times?
Doors open at 6pm at the First Direct Arena and the show begins from 7.25pm when support act Olly Murs will take to the stage.
Take That are due on stage around 8.35pm if the Sheffield show earlier this week is anything to go by.
The most up-to-date timings are usually announced on the First Direct Arena’s social media accounts, so we’ll be keeping an eye on these to bring you the changes as the days progress.
Who’s supporting Take That in Leeds?
Olly Murs has been widely publicised as the ‘very special guest’ for the Take That tour and the Dance With Me Tonight singer appears to be having a ball so far and Gary Barlow has said he “can’t think of anybody better” (just about).

The “idea of a nice day out”
Gary Barlow recently blew up online with countless memes of the singer talking about his vineyard as “the idea of a nice day out”, and he’s already been quick to make it part of the set in Sheffield.
We’ll certainly be counting the number of times that the phrase comes up over the next month or so whilst the band is on tour.

On’t Street: At The Arena
If you see a few people running around in The Hoot Leeds t-shirts outside the First Direct Arena, come and say hello!
We’ll be filming our episode of On’t Street: At The Arena for Take That on Wednesday 17 April 2024 from 6pm onwards and we’d love to see your lovely friendly faces before the show.
Not sure what we’re on about? Check out our previous episode outside Peter Kay last month.
Venue information
The First Direct Arena has a few strict policies to keep gig-goers safe, so make sure to check entry requirements carefully before you travel.
For example, only one small bag per person is allowed, and bags like backpacks, travel cases and laptop bags are not permitted inside the arena.
All bags are scanned on entry to check for prohibited items like laser pens, flares, projectiles, weapons, drugs and alcohol, and even selfie sticks.
