Bradford currently holds the title of ‘City of Culture for 2025’ so it will come as no surprise that a video has gone viral online detailing all the must-see places within this buzzing city.
Known for having an eclectic community, worldwide foodie flavours and now, this northern city has become the talk of the town once again with its picturesque spots.
This city has become the scapegoat of West Yorkshire receiving lots of negative comments online.
One social media user seemed surprised after watching the video stating, "I'm flabbergasted you actually made Bradford look nice".

The Drum Winder Tunnel - Hustlergate
Starting right in the heart of Bradford, you’ll find Hustlergate, a distinctive area within the city centre that is also home to a staple drinking spot, The Drum Winder.
Although not a vast open space of greenery, it is however an area full of historical buildings in various styles: Victorian, Venetian Gothic and Italianate.
Plus you can pop in for a pint or two and that’s why it warrants its place as one of the best places to visit in Bradford.
Ever fancied reading a book and grabbing a coffee in a Grade I listed building, because Bradford has got you sorted.
Back in 1996, British book retailer Waterstones moved into this old wool trading centre and turned it into an aesthetically pleasing paperback-filled paradise.
After featuring on numerous lists as one of the best bookshops in the UK, it is only fitting that this Waterstones inside the Wool Exchange gets even more recognition.
This West Yorkshire city may be home to a suburb called Little Germany but this place is a mini Hollywood in its own right being a filming location for many historical TV shows.

This road has been a staple for this West Yorkshire city for over 300 years and at one point had its own train station, luckily we’ve gained two more since.
Centenary Square - City centre
One of the most grand must-see locations in Bradford, this list would definitely not be complete without a mention of Centenary Square.
Known for being the home of another one of the city’s iconic Grade I listed buildings, City Hall, which is utterly magnificent.
In 2012, the plaza gained the addition of a waterfall display titled the Mirror Pool, as when you look at the floor as you pass by the huge City Hall reflects on the water.

How much does being from Bradford influence the music you release?
All aspects of my personality have been influenced by Bradford, and I’m never more myself than when I’m writing. So lyrically Bradford has had a big impact.
What’s it like being an artist from Bradford?
At first it felt like something I had to hide. Now it’s something I wear as a badge. There’s not many of us in the grand scheme of things. It’s a niche club and I love that. The underdogs.
What northern artists are you loving at the minute?
If you could describe your artistry in three words what would they be and why?
Honest - I try not to hide behind anything in my music even when it’s critical of myself. If something has happened to me or I’m feeling something, I’d rather put it into a song exactly as it is. Might take me a few years but once it’s in the song I can get over it
Colourful - The vision of the world of my music to me feels saturated and bright. the occasional darkness but for the most part.
Arrogant - I think it takes a level of arrogant to do and say certain things in my music. Even to do the visual aspects too painting myself pink, wearing a sloth hat etc Takes an arrogance to think yeah I can put myself in such a weird position and believe it’s going to work
You’ve already amassed over 100k streams on SLOTH - How are you feeling about its reception so far?
It’s been great to see that people have really resonated with the story and the arc I have been on. I want to push it further and hope it reaches everyone that needs it
How fulfilling is it for you to release the SLOTH mixtape, a title you’ve held onto since you were 16?
The most cathartic feeling. Especially when it’s you know you’ve made it exactly the way I intended. It’s also a learning curve for things I will do differently for the next one.
You posted a reel describing how you spent two weeks animating a music video for yourself- How important is being hands-on in all aspects of your music career?
I’m a control freak. And if something is in my head, it’s a lot easier to do it myself. Don’t get me wrong , I work with a lot of hard working talented people that I can now trust and delegate work to. But on this instant, I love animation and I find the most enjoyment in editing visuals
Since you have a track titled ‘Chicken Bagel’, where are some of your favourite brunch or general food spots in West Yorkshire?
I grew up on chicken shops and Salah's is the goat. In terms of restaurants, Classic Persian is the best for me.
You’re not afraid of risk-taking and standing out, even going as far as painting yourself pink for one of your visuals - what advice would you give to any emerging artists who want to be as confident as you?
You have to be willing to embarrass yourself. The stuff that feels slightly uncomfortable, is usually the stuff that people remember.
And confidence doesn’t necessarily mean thinking you’re amazing. Sometimes it’s just being willing to say, “I don’t care if this is weird, I like it.”
It’s also it’s just more fun to feel like your outside of the box
Bradford man, 20, jailed after admitting to 36 child sex offences

A 20-year-old man from Bradford has been sentenced to time in prison this week after admitting to numerous child sex offences.
Following an investigation initially by West Mercia and Lancashire Police, Kasey Fitton, aged 20 of Amundsen Avenue in Bradford, was arrested in February 2025 on suspicion of engaging in sexual communication with four children residing outside of West Yorkshire Police force area.
An investigation was then launched by Bradford Safeguarding Unit, who went on to uncover large-scale sexual offending against children.
In February 2026, Fitton was charged with 16 counts of sexual communication with a child and 20 counts of making/possession of indecent images of children - with police confirming that five child victims have been identified.
At Bradford Crown Court, Fitton admitted to all 36 counts, and then earlier this week (7 September), he was jailed for seven and a half years, plus a five year extension on licence. He will also be required to sign the sex offenders register for life, and he has been given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 15 years.
Speaking following the sentencing this week, Detective Superintendent Alan Weekes of Bradford District Police, described Fitton as a 'very dangerous individual to children'.
"There are further investigations ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who may have been a victim to come forward to us," DSI Weekes said.
"We are keen to speak to anyone who interacted with the Snapchat accounts Kaseyfitton23, Kaseyfitton24 and MyCroft110.
"We take all reports of this nature extremely seriously and they are treated with sensitivity. We have specially trained officers who will guide you through the process and do everything we can to get justice."
