Festival season is in full swing and some of the world’s biggest artists are taking to stages across Yorkshire this month.
This has got to be one of the biggest months of the year when it comes to music for Leeds – Leeds Festival brings crowds from across the country and beyond for a three day musical extravaganza you’re unlikely to find anywhere else. This year, the likes of Billie Eilish, Sam Fender and The Killers will take to Bramham Park with well over 100 different acts following suit over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
And that’s just the beginning!
Over in Sheffield, The Leadmill is preparing to host Miles Kane and Sydney & Matilda is continuing to bring jam-packed lineups to its intimate venue.
Meanwhile The Piece Hall in Halifax will see another month of summer sessions taking to the beautiful open air amphitheatre. Supergroup boygenius play two dates whilst lockdown legend Joe Wicks will have crowds on their feet all day long.
We’re not short of festivals outside of Leeds either, Bridlington Spa is hosting This Feeling By The Sea Festival and Bingley Weekender sees Noel Gallagher, Happy Mondays and a whole host of Northern success stories performing across four days.
