Slap and Pickles have got vegan pigs in blankets, fried Christmas pudding and paxo mayo on the menu this Christmas.
If there's one company we trust with our food it's Slap and Pickle.
The Leeds-based company have grown so much in 2021 that they will be leaving their residency at The Fleece Inn in Horsforth, but they still have a few tricks up their sleeve before they leave.
At their Horsforth and Leeds city centre addresses, Slap and Pickle will be serving one of the best Christmas menus around.
First up is the Vegan All I Want For Christmas Burger and its layer-upon-layer of Moving Mountains goodness.
We're talking vegan patty topped with vegan cranberry Wensleydale, This Isn't Bacon lardons, pickled red cabbage, paxo mayo, cranberry mostarda, shredded lettuce, pickles and onion gravy; all wrapped between two green and rather Instagrammable burger buns.

The loaded fries are also vegan and packed with all the festive trimmings.
There's a super scoop of fries in every dish, topped with vegan cranberry Wensleydale and Pigs in Blankets rain, made from This Isn't Bacon and This Isn't Cocktail Sausages. The fries are then topped with vegan paxo mayo, cranberry mostarda, root veg crisps and fresh parsley.
25p from every Christmas menu item sold goes towards the Kids In Blankets campaign, helping to buy beds for vulnerable children, so when you buy fries for yourself, you're helping someone in need too.
Finally, the All I Want For Christmas Burger is the meaty dream every beef-eater has been waiting for.
We're talking about two Swaledale Butchers smash patties, cranberry Wensleydale, smoked bacon, beef fat-fried Christmas pudding, picked red cabbage, shredded lettuce, pickles, Paxo mayo & cranberry mostarda, all wrapped up in a festive red bun.
If there's room for dessert, the menu also comes with a sweet treat difficult to turn down. Having already featured a Christmas pudding on the Vegan All I Want For Christmas Burger, Slap and Pickle have replaced the traditional festive dessert with the ever-popular Biscoff cheesecake.
"Tis the season to eat Christmas food ‘til it comes out of your ears (and/or gives you a Santa-like appearance), and we’re so down with that."
We couldn't agree more.

Leeds Christmas Markets is returning to the city centre in just two months' time and some major plans and changes have been announced.
Although Pop Princess Zara Larsson might want us to believe "Summer isn't over yet", it's safe to say that the recent downpours we've had across West Yorkshire disagree.
Leeds Christmas Markets are also ringing in the new season with a jam-packed video posted to social media announcing all the current plans and changes for its 2026 schedule.
This year, outdoor events company Thor’s Tipi are stepping up as the all-new operators of this Christmastime spectacular and are organising a celebration where 'even if you’re not from Yorkshire, you’re going to leave being from Yorkshire'.

Although Leeds locals already know that Yorkshire is 'God's Own Country', the Leeds Christmas Markets team are making sure that the county is represented through its food, drinks and wider stalls.
In a video uploaded to its social accounts, foodie expert and Little Bao Boy Founder James 'Jimmy Chews' Ooi was given the honour of revealing all these exciting plans.
Informing everyone that "You best come hungry", Ooi noted that some of the phenomenal vendors taking part include La Grassa and The Savvy Baker.
Real Markets Yorkshire and Stump Cross Caverns are also getting into the Christmas spirit and setting up their own stalls at Leeds City Square this November.

Rated restaurants and bars are contributing to the festive frenzy too, like Cabaret Thursdays at Italian restaurant Bibi's and beer garden destination Green Room are hosting singalongs at Leeds Christmas Markets.
There will be plenty of activities for families happening all around the unofficial capital of West Yorkshire like elf-themed scavenger hunts, various elves on various shelves and lots of live music.
If it wasn't apparent already, in the words of Jimmy Chews himself, there's about to be "So much Christmas that Mariah Carey is going to look like the Grinch".
Leeds Christmas Markets are returning to Leeds City Square from Thursday 19 November and there will be plenty of exciting announcements to the upcoming celebrations ahead of the big day.
