The Ivy Asia is set to open a new restaurant in Leeds this autumn

The highly anticipated opening is set to add to the already flourishing Yorkshire dining scene as well as creating 110 jobs for the community.

The Ivy Asia will be bringing its Asian-inspired concept to Leeds city centre this autumn.

The restaurant will be opening on Vicar Lane just above their popular sister restaurant, The Ivy Victoria Quarter.

The new glamorous restaurant will be open seven days a week offering show stopping cocktails, theatrical drinks and vibrant, innovative dishes from day to night.

The interior of the new hot spot is unlike any other you have seen before. Diners will step onto a mesmerising green onyx flooring dotted with cherry blossom trees which meets walls adorned with bespoke artwork and furnishings, from luxurious Asian fabrics, to captivating colourful wallpapers and antique gold mirrors.

Whether it’s a light lunch or a romantic dinner you’re after, the menu full of small plates designed for sharing fits the bill for every occasion.

The menu, overseen by Executive Chef Simon Gregory, includes a range of dishes from luxurious seafood platters and smoked barbecue lamb rumps, to vegetarian and plant-based options such as chilli noodles with glazed Japanese mushrooms, asparagus, cashew nuts and lime, and spinach and mushroom gyozas with fragrant ginger dashi and black truffle.

There will also be a wide range of sushi and sashimi on offer as well as a set Lunch Stack menu featuring a fresh cucumber salad to start, followed by hot & sour chicken with plum, spring onion, avocado, cucumber and asparagus sushi, and spiced salmon with shiso leaf.

To drink diners will truly be spoilt for choice when choosing off the incredible cocktail menu which will be sure to transport you to the world’s largest continent.

Cocktails such as the Beijing Sling and Matcha Smash are firm staples on the menu which join a huge array of sakes, champagnes and speciality Asian teas.

Live DJs will create the backdrop for your meal and make your evening at The Ivy Asia a night to remember.
