Two Leeds restaurants are celebrating after winning big at the annual Asian Restaurant Awards.
The awards took place in Manchester this Monday 31st July, and celebrate the best Asian food across the country.
Amongst the names chosen as the finest in the land were MyLahore in Kirkstall and Lala’s in Pudsey.
My Lahore has been open since 2002 and has since opened in five different locations across the north, including here in Leeds.
The restaurant, which has sites in Leeds, Blackburn, Bradford, Manchester and Birmingham took home the Best Asian Fusion Restaurant of the Year.
Meanwhile over in Pudsey, Lala’s restaurant, which has been open since 2020, took home the award for the Overall Winner – North of England.
Lala’s specialises in Pakistani food and has plenty of raving reviews online sharing wonderful customer service and “out of this world” food.
It’s not the first time at Lala’s has been awarded with an accolade at the Asian Restaurant Awards either. Last year the takeaway and restaurant took home ‘Best Asian Restaurant – North of England’ and the same award was also given to 2023 winners MyLahore in 2019.
