This morning, Yorkshire-based estate agents Manning Station announced that prices are on the rise for 2022 after releasing their quarterly house price index for 2021.

The index revealed that there has been a 14% increase across the past year, bringing the average house price to £245,904- up a huge £12,000 from the start of 2021.

This was noted to potentially be due to the lack of supply. For Manning Station, they received a 5% decrease in property listings, yet with a 30% increase in first time buyer registrations, there were plenty more buyers looking for a home.
