Leeds Festival have announced more than thirty artists for their 2022 festival, with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Dave and Bring Me The Horizon all set to perform on the main stage next August.
The lineup includes Yorkshire favourites, Arctic Monkeys, who announced yesterday they would also headline Primavera Festival in Los Angeles.
The indie icons have been slowly announcing their European tour dates over the past few weeks and have even rumoured that their new album will be released in the new year. This will be thew third time that the band have headlined Reading and Leeds Festival.
The Sheffield-based band will close the festival on Sunday 28 August, but there are plenty of big names to listen to throughout the festival.
On Friday, Rage Against the Machine, Run the Jewels, Halsey and Bastille are all set to play across both main stages, whilst Saturday has Dave, Polo G, Little Simz, Megan the Stallion and Glass Animals on their line-ups.
Arctic Monkeys will follow the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Wolf Alice, Fontaines DC and Enter Shikari on the main stages, with many more set to be announced in the lead up to the 2022 festival.
The announcement also informed fans that there will be two main stages next year and no clashes between the artists released.
Additional artists appearing across the weekend include: Arddee, Chloe Moriondo, Denzel Curry, Hybrid Minds, Pale Waves, Jack Harlow, Jxdn, Kid Brunswick, Madison Beer, Tai Verdes, The Lathumas, Wilkinson, Circa Waves, Fever 333, Griff, Joy Crookes, PinkPantheress and Wallows.
Reading and Leeds Festival will take place from 26 – 28 August 2022, during its usual August Bank Holiday slot and some fans struggling to contain their excitement, have already begun the countdown to the 2022 festival.
This morning, the official Reading and Leeds Festival social media pages announced the line-up as pre-sale tickets for Three and Barclay card users went on sale.
General release tickets will go on sale from 9am on Friday.
