OpenTable has released its Top 100 Restaurants for 2024, and a Leeds favourite has been included.
The brilliant Bavette over in Horsforth has made the prestigious list of the booking services’ top 100 restaurants.
The huge achievement comes just months after the French bistro first opened its doors, and it’s beaten off some stiff competition from right across the UK to get a place.
And it’s the only restaurant in Leeds to make the list.
The list is curated not by critics, but by diners, taking feedback from the general public and curating the top 100 from their feedback and reviews.
Each year, OpenTable looks at diner reviews and metrics to determine the top restaurants across the country.
OpenTable’s summary of Bavette via their website is as follows: “Bavette-Leeds delivers a remarkable dining experience with “impeccable service” and “outstanding food.”
“Guests rave about the “sublime” dishes and “fantastic” wine selection. The ambiance is “relaxed yet special,” making it perfect for celebrations. While occasionally noted as pricey, the quality justifies the cost. It’s a “French gem” in Horsforth.”
It’s certainly not the first accolade for Bavette to receive, and we bet it won’t be the last.
Having been crowned the best local restaurant in Britain by the Good Food Guide back in July, it’s safe to say Bavette is a local favourite that is being recognised across the country for it’s fantastic food and brilliant service.
Other local restaurants to make the list include Betty’s in Harrogate and the Shibden Mill Inn in Halifax.
