Leeds Labubu lovers (try saying that three times), your beloved Pop Mart is officially on its way.
You may remember back in June, rumours were circulating around the city about Pop Mart opening up in Leeds.
It was all due to a job advert spotted online, which was followed up by a planning application in September submitted to Leeds City Council by Pop Mart.
The application outlined plans to fit out a vacant unit in the city's iconic grade II-listed Thornton Arcade.

The application has been approved, granting Pop Mart permission for alterations and the fitting of a new sign for the building at 78 Briggate.
The planning officer's report said: “The retail unit is currently vacant.
“The refurbishment internally and externally preserves the historic fabric of the grade II-listed building by bringing the currently vacant unit back into use.”
It continued: “As the proposals are almost exclusively internal, other heritage assets in the vicinity are unaffected.
“None of the proposals affect any of the existing historic fabric.”

Pop Mart is famed for its huge collection of designer toys and collectible items, often attracting fans from far and wide who are prepared to queue up outside the doors before opening.

The brand is most famously known for stocking Labubus.
A Labubu is the name of the viral plush toy created by Hong Kong-born, Netherlands-raised designer Kasing Lung, who drew inspiration from his love of fairytales to make this worldwide cuddly phenomenon.
They have been flying off the shelves and even creating some controversy, with some shops refusing to stock them due to customers fighting over them in the streets.
The general public aren’t the only ones all over these famous fur-balls either, as celebs and stars alike have been attaching them to their handbags and sporting them like a prized possession.
Pop Mart is already hugely established in Manchester, London, Birmingham, Cambridge, and Reading.
Silver's Deli is opening up a sister shop, and this time it's about everything baked.
We all know and love Silver's Deli for their stacked subs and breakfast sandwiches that could cure any hangover no matter how severe.
They're so good, that they even bagged the coveted Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Award last year.
And rightly so, because everything Silver's do is absolutely class.

And it seems there's just no stopping Silver's, as last month they announced that they'll be opening a sister shop named 'Silver's Bakehouse' serving up everything, yep you guessed it, baked.
What exactly has not yet been revealed, with owner Chris keeping details tightly under wraps.
But what we do know is that every single thing will be made fresh, with love, in-house, at their new brand spanking new location in Farsley.
They've been keeping adoring fans updated on their socials with renovation updates, and it's already looking absolutely top tier.
Announcing the very exciting news to Instagram, Silver's Deli said: "Well it’s happening. I said no more shops, but it’s kinda necessary, and I just love all things baked.
"There’s waaaaaaaaay too many details to share on this right now, but go give our sister shop @silvers_bakehouse a new follow and hold on tight. This is gonna be fun as fuck."
We're in no doubt that this venture is going to be absolutely brilliant, and you best believe we'll be first in line to try one of those brownies.
Silver's Bakehouse will be located on Town Street in Farsley and is opening next Friday 22 May - just in time for the late May bank holiday weekend. We'll see you there.
