Welsh rock band and musical legends Stereophonics are embarking on their first tour together in three years next summer.
Forming in 1992, the band have had chart acclaim with 11 UK top ten hits and a number one single in 2005, the unforgettable ‘Dakota’.
Lead singer Kelly Jones has seen the band go from making music together as neighbours to becoming a classic rock band that 30 years into their career are still headlining stadium tours.
On top of their incredible achievements with smash hit singles, the band also managed to amass eight number one albums, a feat which many aspiring artists dream of.
Catching attention throughout the turn of the millennium, their second studio album ‘Performance and Cocktails’ released in 1999 where Kelly Jones’ unmistakable vocals got us all hooked.
The rock band are ready to deliver an unforgettable performance to a crowd of almost 25,000 as they bring their ‘Stadium Anthems’ tour to Huddersfield in 2025.
Crowds can expect to hear tracks like ‘The Bartender And The Thief’, ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ and ‘Mr Writer’ alongside songs from their discography which dates back to 1997 with their debut LP ‘Word Gets Around’.
As well as hearing all your favourite Stereophonics records in the flesh, crowds can also expect to be treated to some more live music from special guests supporting the band who will be announced at a later date.
Eager fans who want a bigger chance of securing tickets can do so by pre-ordering the band’s newest album whose title and artwork are yet to be revealed.
Winning one BRIT award for ‘Best Breakthrough Act’ in 1998, the band are sure to win over the crowds of Huddersfield Town’s stadium with ease.
With the album set for a release between spring and summer 2025 in line with the tour, fans have all the time they need to revisit the rock band’s music catalogue before the shows commence.
Stereophonics are jamming out with Huddersfield on Saturday 14 June at John Smith Stadium in 2025.

Just announced to be joining the lineup are the likes of Villanelle, December 10, Beth McCarthy, After, JD Cliffe, Untitled, Alex Spencer, unpeople, SINN6R, 54 Ultra, unpeople, Kibo and Camille Blackman.

Following the announcement of indie legends Blossoms’ special guest appearance, newly announced Leeds exclusive performances will come from Dylan John Thomas, The Clause, M60 and 4AM Kru.
Also announced is the return of Leeds Festival’s famed late-night home LS23 - which has become a fixture of the festival over the years.
Soundtracking late into the night and only found at Leeds Festival, this year’s lineup includes the likes of Lens, Soul Mass Transit System, ZERO, CROSSY, Osmosis Jones and more.
Currently, Leeds Festival 2026 has seven headline acts spanning all genres from Dance and EDM to Pop and Rap with the likes of Charli XCX, Raye, Dave, Fontaines D.C. and more topping the bill.
For the first time ever, Kasabian will be performing a headline slot on the Thursday night amongst many more.
Also listed on the line-up are rising stars like R&B vocal powerhouse Skye Newman, pop princess Jade, Merseyside indie rockers The K's and Wigan-formed The Lilacs with more to be announced.

British pop-rock legends Duran Duran are heading out on tour and coming to Leeds.
The ‘Rio’ and ‘Girls on Film’ singers are still going strong nearly five decades on, after releasing their 16th studio album, Danse Macabre, back in October 2023.
Later this year, Duran Duran will be heading to first direct bank arena for a spectacular live show, bringing decades of chart-topping hits, legendary performances and unmistakable style to our city.
It's set to be a very special evening, as their night in Leeds will act as the closing night of the UK Tour.
Formed in Birmingham in 1978, Duran Duran became one of the defining bands of the 1980s and helped shape the global New Romantic movement.
