We can't quite believe that we're already in the third week of July now, and even after our social calendar has been packed full of loads of foodie festivals, cultural celebrations, sporting tournaments, and wholesome family-friendly events so far this month, there’s even more where that came from this week.

Free iced coffee at 200 Degrees

Fancy a free coffee? Silly question, of course you do. And to bag yourself one, all you have to do is get yourself to 200 Degrees on Bond Street this Tuesday 16 July from 10.30am.
But there is a slight catch, you’ve got to be in the first 200 people because once they’re one, they’re gone.
One of Europe’s largest parks has just opened a fun new sculpture trail perfect for the whole family. The new attraction has been created by Yorkshire chainsaw artist, Shane Green.
Known as the ‘Yorkshire Carver’, Green has transformed felled beech trees into gorgeous sculptures of owls, herons, butterflies, fish and more. He has created a total of 16 tree sculptures for visitors to discover and marvel at throughout the 700-acre park.
Did someone say thirsty Thursday? Yep, Leeds’ newest wood-fire kitchen and bar Galleria did.Â
They’re making Thursday the new Friday with their brand new Bottomless Thursday deal. We’re talking two dishes plus unlimited drinks for a whopping 90 minutes, where you can pick from a huge menu of tipples including Aperol spritzes, spicy margaritas, espresso martinis and negronis.

Leeds Pride 2024

Leeds is gearing up for its most spectacular Pride celebration to date, get ready for a day filled with vibrant festivities and entertainment, kicking off at 10:30am followed by the iconic parade at 12pm.

Inside the modern Japanese grill coming to Leeds from the team behind Fern Modern Sushi

We've been very excited about this one.
If you know anything about the Leeds food scene, then you'll know the absolute legend that is Chef Fern.
Her first restaurant, Fern Modern Sushi, is a firm favourite amongst locals and visitors alike. Known for their expertly crafted sushi made with the freshest fish on offer.
And now, she's turning her attention to her second venture - Tori Nori.

Tori Nori is a modern Japanese grill and bar inspired by the bustling izakayas of Tokyo.
Everything is centred around the fiery robata grill where guests can watch the chefs cook everything from grilled fish to delicious yakitori skewers right in front of their very eyes.
All designed to share, this is a place to hang out with friends, enjoy some delicious food and maybe sink a few Japanese-inspired cocktails whilst you're at it.

Located on Vicar Lane, the space has had a whole refurb and it's looking fantastic. Complete with perfectly moody lighting, plush banquette seating and beautiful Japanese-inspired wallpaper.
The menu features an entire yakitori menu, from cheesy chicken thighs and pork belly to grilled king prawn and Japanese A5 wagyu all grilled over charcoal.
There's also Fern's signature sushi on the menu, as well as big plates to share such as teryaki half chickens and miso lamb chops.
