We’re officially into spring – and with the new seasons come new food trucks over at Trinity Kitchen.
From much-loved Levantine cuisine MorMor to newcomers bringing ‘weiner’ dogs to the table, there’s truly something for everybody to get stuck in to.
Keep reading to find out the five new trucks taking over the space for the next nine weeks…
Following on from a successful stint at Kino, MorMor is kicking off the spring season with a nine week popup at Trinity Kitchen. The Levantine kitchen has been serving up a series of Levantine dishes like chicken shawarma, falafels and some of the creamiest whipped goat’s cheese around – and is likely to become a new lunchtime favourite to Trinity Kitchen regulars.

Packed with flavour, grab a meal deal from Jimmy Macks and take full advantage of the three-piece meal for £12. There’s roast squash and black bean soft tacos with charred corn salsa and lime crema or the cult-classic beef brisket birria in crispy folded tacos served with tomato salsa; Mexican chicken with jalapeno salsa and that birria dipping gravy that’s got everyone talking. Every meal deal is served with seasoned fries and a soft drink of your choice, or there’s side portions like loaded nachos and fries to choose from too.

Home of the steam bao, you can grab hoisin brisket, Korean BBQ pulled pork or even braised jackfruit from Superbao. The newcomer truck has plenty of meal deals too – think bao, fries and a soft drink for £8 or opt for a boozy option for a tenner
With artwork from the faces behind Sela Bar and popular Trinity Kitchen popup Little Red Eats, Disco Dogs is a brand new venture bringing loaded fries and, you guessed it, hot dogs to Leeds. Choose from smokey, bacon, chilli or cheese options on either of the mains or opt for a meal deal for £11.
Ahead of the planned re-opening of Jamrock on Kirkgate, the Caribbean foodies will be cooking up a feast. Having previously been known for jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish, curried goat and plenty of vegan and veggie options – it’s exciting to see Jamrock back in Leeds after closing its original restaurant back last year.
