Sheffield's newest gaming venue, Tenpin, is the ultimate competitive socialising destination for 2024.
There's a new entertainment centre in town, and it boasts 40 thousand square feet of non-stop fun.
Tenpin is one of the UK's leading entertainment providers, and has just opened its 53rd venue right here in the Steel City.
Located on Angel Street, you can find a huge range of gaming activities alongside stylish interior and intelligent lighting, so you can stay playing for hours on end.Â

If you're a fan of bowling (and let's be honest, who isn't), then you'll find it here in abundance. A whopping 21 lanes with fully immersive sound and lighting, this is a bowling experience like no other.

This incredible 4D experience will have you ready for combat, with special effects like strobe lighting and fog you'll truly feel like you're stepping into battle. Now you've heard of crazy golf, but Tenpin's escape adventure golf concept is something you won't find anywhere else. Crazy golf just got crazier with 'Prison Putt', with escape room elements thrown into the mix players will be putting for their lives to escape the slammer.

Think mini-challenges and puzzles combined with ten rounds of classic crazy golf, trust us - it's a real hoot.
If you're looking for the perfect team building exercise then look no further than Tenpin's escape rooms designed by the award-winning Houdini's. Take your pick from four themed rooms where you'll have to solve interactive puzzles, clues and codes in order to make it out as a team.
From the incredibly spooky 'Creepy Carnival' to 'Alcatraz' and 'R.M.S Titanic', these games aren't for the faint hearted... but they're definitely a whole lot of fun.
Once you've escaped (hopefully), you can make your way to one of three karaoke rooms and sing your hearts out to all the songs you can think of.Â
From current chart-topping hits to old-school classics, they've got everything you need to release your inner Mariah Carey.

New Openings
A 1970s-inspired cocktail bar is coming to Leeds this month from the team behind some of the city’s best bars
We've been waiting a while for this one - and it's finally here.
If you know a thing or two about cocktails, or just drinks in general, then you're going to be just as excited as us.
The very talented team behind Roland's and The Domino Club, just to name a few, are setting their sites on a brand-new venture.
Introducing Paper Plane, an intimate new cocktail bar that will be taking over the old Casa site in the city's beautiful Grand Arcade.
Paper Plane will be inspired by the glamour of 1970s air travel and will be a vinyl-only listening bar, serving a world-inspired cocktail menu alongside a carefully curated whisky collection.
The space will be lovely and intimate, with around just 40 covers, designed to transport guests somewhere completely different from the minute they step foot through the door.
And what a location too, joining a whole host of fantastic independents in the arcade such as Alfonso's Deli, Stuzzi and Sonder.
Not only has Roland's been consistently one of the busiest bars on Call Lane since they opened back in 2014, but The Domino Club was recently crowned one of the best cocktail bars in the world. Now that is some accolade worth shouting about.
Paper Plane was announced all the way back in July, and just this week they have announced their official opening date.
Paper Plane will be opening its doors on Thursday 29 October, and we can't wait to welcome them to the city. We'll definitely see you there for a cocktail or two (or three).

An intimate Japanese katsu bar with only 15 seats is coming to Leeds city centre

Chef Fern is taking on another venture, and this time it's all about Katsu.
If you know anything about the Leeds food scene, then you'll know the absolute legend that is Chef Fern.
Her first restaurant, Fern Modern Sushi, is a firm favourite amongst locals and visitors alike. Known for their expertly crafted sushi made with only the freshest fish on offer.
Nestled in the Central Arcade, this hole-in-the-wall restaurant captured the hearts of many foodies since opening in 2024.
This year, Chef Fern set her sights on another restaurant on Vicar Lane.

Tori Nori opened just a couple of months ago, a modern Japanese grill centred around the fiery robata where guests can watch the chefs cook everything from grilled fish to delicious yakitori skewers right in front of their very eyes.
Unsurprisingly, Tori Nori has also been a huge hit.
But there's just no stopping Fern as she goes on to open yet another restaurant in the city centre.

Introducing O Katsu, an intimate restaurant with only 15 covers serving premium katsu.
Katsu is basically a breaded, deep-fried piece of meat, seafood or vegetables. Served with steaming hot rice, shredded cabbage, miso soup and dipping sauces, it's nothing short of delicious and a popular meal enjoyed in Japan.
We don't know much abut the opening date just yet, but what we do know is that it'll be located just opposite her first restaurant in the Central Arcade.
There will be no bookings, and the space will feature an open kitchen so guests can watch the magic happen.
One things for sure, if Chef Fern is involved you just know it's going to be brilliant. We'll keep you updated on the opening of O Katsu as and when we find out.
