Love Actually is back in UK cinemas to celebrate its 20th anniversary

Another one of the best-loved festive films of all time has returned to UK cinemas to celebrate 20 years since it was released.

Whether you can believe it or not, it’s actually been two whole decades since the 2003 Christmas cult classic that is Love Actually was released to the world, and now, with December in full swing and the festivities well underway, there’s no better way to celebrate this special anniversary than seeing the film return to the big screen for a limited time only.

This means you can now head on down to Vue cinemas on the Headrow, as well as others throughout the region, to watch the beloved festive flick.

Going on to become a much-loved festive favourite that’s watched by families all over the world every time December rolls around, Love Actually is a Christmas-themed romantic comedy film that cleverly ties together 10 separate stories of love – from familial, right through to romantic and platonic.

Directed by acclaimed British director Richard Curtis, it’s been hailed by many as a modern classic, and is often listed as one of the best Christmas films of all time.

Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Bill Nighy, Keira Knightley, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Alan Rickman, Martine McCutcheon, Rowan Atkinson, Martin Freeman, Andrew Lincoln, and so many more famous faces form part of the undeniably all-star ensemble cast.
