Lewis Capaldi announces intimate Leeds gig at The Wardrobe for festival ticket holders

Taking to the teeny 450 capacity venue, Lewis Capaldi is coming to The Wardrobe for one night.

But the catch is, you can only be in with the chance of getting a ticket if you’ve got yourself a Leeds or Reading Festival ticket.

The Someone You Loved singer is set to close Leeds Festival on Sunday 27 August 2023, but will be making an early stop at The Wardrobe on Tuesday 6 June 2023.

Announcing the news on Instagram, the official Reading and Leeds Festival page said:

“SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. Clear your diaries on 6th June ūüĎÄ We’re hosting a super intimate show in Leeds with none other than¬†@lewiscapaldi Not only that, we also have the incredible¬†@jamesmarriottyt¬†supporting.

It’s not actually the first time that the Scottish singer has graced The Wardrobe with its presence. Taking to the stage back in 2019, he performed his breakthrough single Someone You Loved for a small audience.

Four years on, he’s selling out the First Direct Arena and headlining some of the UK’s biggest festivals – but still Capaldi’s clearly not forgotten his humble roots.
