The iconic Coca-Cola truck is set to visit a popular Leeds pub today

The holidays (and the truck) are coming!

The Coca-Cola truck is coming back to Leeds, and this time its paying a visit to one of our favourite boozers…

If you missed the big red truck pulling up in Leeds late last month then do not worry, because it is back in all its glory today, Friday 15 December 2023.

As per usual they’re not giving us much time to prepare, but from 12pm today you can pay a visit to the truck at the Lawnswood Arms on Otley Road in Adel.

And the best part is, this time you’ll be able to take a personalised can of coke home with you as a souvenir. How cool is that?

Of course the Coca-Cola Christmas choir will also be there, to keep you feeling festive with all the classic hymns as you snap a photo in front of the iconic truck.

We can guarantee that if you’re not in the festive spirit at the time of your arrival, then you most definitely will be on departure.

This year’s event Coca-Cola truck event will raise money a number good causes in Leeds via Coca-Cola’s partner the NeighbourlyFoundation, an organisation that helps businesses volunteer for and donate to good causes in their area.

Florence Wheatley, Coca-Cola Great Britain brand manager, said: “Coca-Cola has been spreading Christmas cheer for decades and, this year, we’ve added even more exciting elements to make it as magical and merry as possible. Alongside the beloved ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert, we have introduced new elements like the ‘World Needs More Santas’ TVC and an interactive Santa Quiz.

“We’re also thrilled to extend our partnership with Neighbourly and emphasise spreading kindness and making a positive impact locally. Together, we want to inspire year-round acts of goodwill and truly make a difference in our communities.”

Neighbourly CEO Steve Butterworth said: “We’re excited to join forces with Coca-Cola over the festive period. The Christmas Truck Tour is a fantastic way to increase awareness of Neighbourly’s mission to help businesses build stronger communities.

“The partnership with Coca-Cola is about more than just festivities; it’s about making a real difference. By connecting businesses with local causes, we aim to create a positive impact that lasts beyond the holiday season.
