Live At Leeds: In The Park is back for another year.
Announcing this morning that the festival will return for 2024, the first wave of confirmed acts continue to support the theme of supporting homegrown talent and up-and-coming indie bands alike.
Longtime Brighton favourites The Kooks have been announced as the first headliners for the all-day fest, whilst Declan McKenna will return to Leeds in 2024, this time swapping a secret set at Leeds Fest for Temple Newsam Farm.
Wakefield’s own The Cribs also will be making an appearance at Live At Leeds: In The Park, returning eight years after headlining the ‘In The City’ portion of the festival back in 2015 – and there’s no doubt that the same crowdpleasers like Be Safe and Man’s Needs will get the crowd on their feet with just as much enthusiasm today.
Hot off the back of a stellar performance at The Wardrobe as part of Live At Leeds: In The City 2023, Antony Szmierek will be taking to the big stage, alongside The Mysterines, Vistas, The Slow Readers Club, Future Islands and more.
The full line-up so far is as followed:
Plus more to be announced…
Live At Leeds: In The Park, Antony Szmierek said: “Playing in Leeds always feels like playing a hometown gig, and I’d play there every week if I could. Very excited to be moving from the basement to the park this year!”
The Slow Readers Club added: “Leeds has been good to us over the years, from 3 people in a pub in 2010 to stylus and millennium square in 2023, it’s been quite a journey. This will be our first time playing Live at Leeds in the park and we can not wait to see you all!“
Tickets go on sale tomorrow Friday 24 November 2023, with ticket prices starting at £62.50 each from the Live At Leeds website.
