It’s no surprise that we love a brunch, and we have to say we are also huge fans of rum punch…so when you combine the two, it’s simply a match made in heaven.
Jamrock is an independent restaurant based on Kirkgate who serve up delicious West Indian cuisine at its best – think fresh, flavourful food cooked with bundles of love.
Helmed by Jamaica-born Oral Blackford and inspired by his upbringing in Ocho Rios, Jamrock combines traditional cuisine with innovative cocktails for an experience to remember.
So you just know that Jamrock’s Rum Punch Brunch will not disappoint, imagine a brilliant party atmosphere complete with great drinks, food and stellar service. It’s a no brainer really.
Now onto the details, how long is the brunch, when is the brunch and what do you get?
The Rum Punch Brunch takes place every Friday – Saturday 12pm-7pm, it costs £35 a head and your slot is 90 minutes long.
For food you can tuck into one of their delicious brunch bowls, choose from Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Chickpea Curry and BBQ Jackfruit. All served with rice and peas, fried plantain and house slaw.
Drinks wise you are truly spoilt for choice, for cocktails you’ve got the iconic Rum Punch, Jamaica Gin Fizz, Rumstar Martini, Mad Ting and Luminous Lagoon.
Or keep it simple with draught beer, cider, wine and prosecco.
And you can enjoy all this whilst boogying to rotational DJ’s serving up reggae, Afrobeats and R&B.
