These famous Percy Pig Martinis – or Pigtinis – are causing quite a stir at a Leeds cocktail bar.
Served in a coupette and garnished with not one but three Percy Pig sweets, this is the ultimate sweet tooth cocktail – with an added hint of nostalgia, courtesy of the popular piggy-shaped Marks and Spencer chews.
Made with Percy pig-infused Ketel One vodka, Chambord liqueur, apple juice, lemon and egg white, the more-ish pink martini has been quite a hit since it returned to the menu at Jake’s Bar and Still Room.
The Call Lane bar has long been a drinking institution in the city, but now we all have another very good reason to pay them a visit.
Of course, if the Percy Pig cocktail isn’t quite your thing – there’s plenty of other great drinks on the menu here at this award-winning bar.
Another new favourite here includes their Corpse Reviver #Blue, which takes a tried and tested classic and makes it completely disco with blue curacao, Tanqueray, martini ambrato and lemon.
There’s also a good selection of wines, beers and spirit mixers on offer here if you’re not feeling a cocktail.
Focusing on sustainability and working hard towards zero waste, Jakes sets itself apart for its pro-reuse, reduce, recycle attitude. It also produces its own spirits, liqeres and distillats here as the name suggests.
