Ex-England rugby league star Rob Burrow and his daughters completed the Leeds Mini and Junior Run yesterday on Father’s Day.
The Leeds 10k took place yesterday 18 June 2023, with participants setting off from the Parkinson Steps at 9am shortly followed by the Arena Group Leeds Mini run at 9.45am and Junior run at 9.55am.
Following on from the brilliant success of the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon in May, Rob Burrow took a deserved lap of honour to show support for the run founded by Jane Tomlinson in 2007.

Rob Burrow was joined by his wife Lindsey, daughters Maya and Macy and son Jackson for the Mini and Junior Fun Run.
Maya and Macy, aged 11 and eight, pushed his wheelchair along the course for a lap of honour with their mother.
The family were cheered on throughout their lap and as they crossed the finish line on Sunday morning.
Speaking before the event, Rob said: “I’m really looking forward to my kids pushing me round the Fun Run. I think it might be a bumpy ride!”
Macy Burrow said: “We are really excited to be taking part in the Fun Run with our Dad.”

Lindsey Burrow added: “It will be great to get the whole Burrow family involved in this event. We are really looking forward to it and encourage all families to get involved.”
The family crossed the finish line around 10am to ruptures rounds of applause, a truly heartwarming moment which will remain a special moment for the family.
