It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, the viral chicken shop Wingstop is opening its doors on Boar Lane.
The fast food chain Wingstop announced it was opening in Leeds last month, and ever since then people have been eagerly awaiting the official opening date.
And now there’s no need to wait any further, as Wingstop will be opening their doors for hungry punters on Monday 25 March at 11am.
From the zingy lemon pepper fries to the hot and spicy mango habanero wings, we cannot wait to chow down on Wingstop’s viral deliciousness.
And obviously we’ll be dunking everything into their iconic ranch dip.
But the fun doesn’t stop there, because you could even get your first taste for free as the first 100 people through the door will get a free Wingstop.
So what is this chicken shop all about then? Well, the concept is pretty simple.
They sell chicken wings, boneless wings and tenders which you can coat in your choice of flavour. And you’ve got quite a few to choose from.
Flavours include the infamous lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, mango habanero, cajun, Korean BBQ, Brazilian citrus pepper and so many more.
You can also coat your fries in these flavours, which you’ll be urged to drench in their ranch dip which everyone is loving on social media.
The new opening comes as the company faces their biggest year of growth yet.
Tom Grogan, co-founder of Lemon Pepper Holdings, said: “2024 is going to be our biggest ever year of growth. We are proud to be opening across the country and creating up to 750 new jobs.
“In just five short years as a business, we have certainly made our mark, offering the best-tasting wings in the business alongside an authentic and customised dining experience.
“There is huge momentum, and we are just getting started. We can’t wait for more of the UK to try our delicious food.”
