And not only that, but it officially has the least amount of cycle lanes making it a proper doddle to drive through the city.
Have you heard the news? Research has revealed that it is truly a breeze to drive in Leeds.
The study, carried out by tomfoolery.com, has revealed our wonderful city to be the easiest city to drive through in the whole of the UK.
The survey accounted for a number of factors including cycle lanes, one-way systems and roadworks, and Leeds was found to have a minimal amount of all three – what a winner!
In fact, the study found that the number of roadworks in Leeds to be the least amount in any city, in any country, ever.
On top of that, it saw the lack of cycle lanes to be a danger to those wishing to ride a bike and Mr Foolery himself urges those with a bike to stay away from Leeds at all costs.
Mr Foolery spoke about the study: “Driving through Leeds is such a doddle, that it’s almost like playing the beginners level of Mario Kart.
“It’s fantastic, the lack of roadworks and one-way systems makes it possible for anyone to drive through the city. Even if you don’t have a license, I reckon you could give it a go.”
So next time you’re feeling road rage, just stop! Because the study says you can drive from one end of the city to another faster than you can say Happy April Fool’s Day….
