Tickets flew off the shelves for the original fest taking place on the 23 and 24 September, but luckily for us there will now be a second celebration just a week later on 30th September and 1st October.

So if you couldn’t grab a spot for the first weekend then do not fear, your opportunity to oompah to your heart’s content is still in sight.

This year, the 7th edition of Leeds’ Oktoberfest weekend will be taking place at Chow Down, Temple Arches. An outdoor venue which know how to host a good party and is now a favourite amongst Leeds locals.

Famous for it’s electric atmosphere and guaranteed mayhem, expect steins of beer bigger than your head, traditional German eats and plenty of dancing to brilliant Bavarian music.

Originating from Munich all the way back in 1811, Oktoberfest has become synonymous with traditional German party culture across the globe.

The event is now a staple of West Yorkshire’s entertainment calendar and grows in popularity each and every year.
